Graham Burchell

Graham Burchell was born in 1950 in Canterbury, England, but now writes from the home he shares in Houston, Texas with his wife and too many dogs. Some of these canines, Amy Lou, Zoë and Nigel for example, have kindly donated their names to characters in this story. For most of his working life Graham has been a teacher, often in far-flung corners of countries such as Zambia, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Chile. He is the author of two previous children’s books, a considerable amount of award-winning poetry and a lot of other stuff that has found its way into the trash.
